Timothy K. Decker and Jared Stock met in 1994 when each owned income property in a private, multi-family neighborhood. While they renovated their own holdings, they joined together to ‘take over’ the owners association’s board of directors and pushed for upgrades to the common areas that resulted in an overall increase in property values and increased unit rental rates. They both then sold for a profit, and in the following years Tim and Jared stayed in touch.

AAPC was founded in 2007 by Timothy Decker and Jared Stock who, working with a team of proven local talent (brokers, architects, engineers and craftsmen), seek to ‘cherry-pick’ local projects and bring them to market.

 

In Rehab and Flip scenarios, speed is paramount, but not at the expense of quality workmanship.

 

We accomplish quick turn-around largely by working closely with proven crews/subs and by applying commercial construction scheduling techniques: e.g., putting multiple trades on-site at the same time. This requires skill, knowledge, and willingness.

 

Example: During the summer of 2008, AAPC razed a 960 square foot home in east Austin, leaving the front and side exterior walls and 70% of the floor area intact. We completely replaced the foundation, expanded the ground floor and added a second floor for a total of 2,300 square feet including green components, tankless water heaters, computer center and more.
